One of the best things about the Bri Beauty Stick? You never have to throw it away. When you run out of product, just pop in a new refill pod and keep going. No buying a whole new stick! No seriously, is that not the coolest thing ever?
If you've never used a refillable makeup product before, we get that it might feel unfamiliar at first. But trust us, once you do it once, you'll wonder why all makeup isn't made this way.
Here's everything you need to know about refilling your Bri Beauty Stick.
What Are Refill Pods?
Refill pods are the replaceable product cartridges that snap into each end of your Bri Beauty Stick. One pod holds your blush, the other holds your bronzer.
When you run out, you simply hold the gold sides of the empty pod and pull it out and push in your new refill.
How to Refill Your Bri Beauty Stick
Step 1: Pull Out the Empty Pod
Remove the red cap. Hold the gold sides of the refill pod and pull out. It should come out smoothly, no force needed.
Tip: If it feels stuck, try twisting the product dial all the way down first, then twist the pod out.
Step 2: Snap In Your New Refill Pod
Take your new refill pod, remove the red cap, and using the white end, push it in until you hear a soft click. That click means it's locked in place.
Step 3: Replace Caps and Go!
Replace the red cap and you're good to go!
How Often Should I Refill?
It depends on how often you use your Bri Beauty Stick, but on average:
- Daily use: Expect to refill every 3-4 months
- A few times a week: Every 5-6 months
- Occasional use: Could last 8-12 months
Blush and bronzer are products you don't need a ton of, so refills last longer than you'd think.
Can I Switch Shades When I Refill?
Absolutely! This is one of the best parts about the refillable system.
Let's say you started with Drive (soft pink) as your blush, but now you want to try Disrupt (hot pink) for a bolder look. Just order the Disrupt refill pod and swap it in.
Same goes for bronzer. Want to go deeper for summer? Switch to Build. Want something softer for winter? Go back to Commit. This is your stick, which means your shades are your choice.
Do I Have to Refill Both Ends at the Same Time?
Nope. You can refill just your blush, just your bronzer, or both, whatever you need. They're completely independent, so you're never forced to buy product you don't need just yet.
What Happens to the Empty Pods?
We're working on a take-back program so you can send your empty pods back to us for proper recycling. Stay tuned and follow us on social media, we'll share an update as soon as it's live.
In the meantime, check with your local recycling program to see if they accept small plastic components.
Why Refillable Matters
Here's the thing: the beauty industry creates 120 billion units of packaging waste every year. Most of it ends up in landfills because it's not recyclable.
When you refill instead of rebuy, you're keeping that outer stick in circulation instead of tossing it after a few months. One base can last you years if you just keep refilling it and significantly reduces plastic waste in the beauty industry over time.
It's better for the planet, better for your wallet, and honestly? It just feels good knowing you're able to contribute to a necessary evolution for sustainable beauty.
Where to Buy Refills
You can shop refill pods here. Choose your shade (blush or bronzer), add to cart, and you're done.
Pro tip: Stock up on a couple refills so you always have a backup ready to go. Nothing worse than running out mid-routine and having to wait for shipping.
